Your Own Health

I told you about my breakfast with my friend yesterday. One of the things he alerted me about was to check on my sugar level. Maybe he noted my unusual irritability! Today, I checked it to find it abnormal! Today, I realized my health is at risk. I simply need to take good care of myself; my diet and my exercise. I need to eat a bit lesser and exercise a bit more every day. I need to practice more control over my temper. I need to turn to my creator in supplication and repentance to shower me with His Mercy. Many of us keep on going in this life running and running without taking a rest for the soul and body to reconcile. We may pay attention to many facets of our life but not to our own self. Sometimes we may care for the car we drive or the cloth we put on more than our caring for our own well-being ... physically, mentally, and spiritually. All the three are important as they are inter-related and complementing each other. Indeed, we need to take life a bit less serious, to pause to relax and reflect, to be gentle to oneself, to connect with our Lord for His support and Guidance. Let's take good care of the most important person in our live; oneself! When you're healthy in all aspects of your life, you will be more contributing and useful to others around you.
