CIED




Alhamdullilah, a new none-for-profit organization has been registered and homed in Coquitlam, BC.

The "Canadian Institute of Education and Development" in short "CIED" ... with the mission to serve the Muslim community in the Tri-Cities area to learn and develop stronger Muslims Insha'Allah.

Cuurently, we are looking for a place to rent. The objective is have it ready and open early February 2012 Insha'Allah. We have no resources but we have faith in Allah Almighty that he will provide for this cause from beyond our imagination. Our mission is noble and that of the prophets and messengers; educating and helping people to learn and grow.

I beg of Allah Almighty to guide us and help us to do good.

    Asalamu Aleikum Br. Ayman,

    May Allah reward you for your efforts. I was just wondering what it means "to build STRONGER muslims..." I'm afraid this kind of language may almost viewed threatening to the local governments no? you mean to say this will be a school?? or a Masjid? or?

    Your help in my understand of this is very appreciated.

    I was referrig to a hadith where the prophet Sallallahu alaihi Wassallam said "The strong believer is better than and more beloved to Allah than the weak one; and in both there is good" .. "Strong" here is synonym to "Competent" ... I see nothing wrong whatsoever to using the term Insha'Allah.

    A school or a masjid! the dream is to have it as a center to serve more than a mission. It will run masajid and schools and others Insha'Allah. As of now, the hope is to organize educational events to keep learning and growing. Hope in the future, more to be done together as a community.

    Since the CIED is a non-for-profit organization, is it safe to assume that Muslims in the locality would receive free training and education?
